This question has disturbed me and my family since years but...please help?

My father expired 2 years after my marriage .during my marriage it was proposed that in short period they will get my brother married .since he just resigned from his job and could not settle in a new one his marriage was delayed and during that time my father expired. I felt much helpless but i hoped that my brother will soon settle in life and support me and my mother. but when the right time came he refused and till now refuses to marry .now he has turned 37years and i have obviously no hope left . I frequently feel insulted in my in laws house for this . i am not able to understand how to help myself and my brother to follow the right direction in life. my mom also these days doest talk to me properly and has started disliking me .i dont know why both of them dislike me where i never expected anything from them except their love and affection .i hope that god shows us a dignified direction to survive in society.
